The New Adventures in Sound Art is hosting an event of sound art for kids from June 27 – August 2 in their NAISA Space. Children of all ages will have the opportunity to explore sound installations as a performer and listener. This is a great way for kids to experience another side of the music world they might not have been exposed to. Sound art can be a fun and immersive way to present new ideas about sound and technology to kids. It’s a great way to show that you can create music without conventional instruments and that music is everywhere!
These approaches to music making is what I encourage my students to explore. Try something new and let your creativity and curiosity lead the way!
